Why do flies always rub their legs?

Ngg..Ngg Flies fly here and there. If they land on our food, we must immediately chase them away.  Sssh flies - dirty flies, quickly enyah from here! flies are indeed very annoying and disgusting. Makes us reluctant to eat food that has been infested with flies.

Flies live in bathrooms, gutters, trash cans, and of course on rotting food scraps. Imagine how dirty those flies are. Have we ever noticed a fly when it lands on food and rubs its legs?

Actually, there are many thin hairs on the fly's legs.  It is on the leg hairs that a lot of dirt sticks. Flies continue to rub their front legs so that the dirt that sticks there is gone. Usually flies use their forelegs to taste their food. Therefore, flies always rub their forelegs so that they are clean and they can enjoy the taste of their food.
